The beginning of every New Year brings with it the opportunity for a fresh start. It brings the optimism that starting over is possible, and the belief that new beginnings can create new and successful outcomes. The New Year stands before us like a chapter in a book, waiting to be written. We can help write the story by setting goals, which give us a sense of direction. Our goals put a powerful force into play on all levels; universal, conscious and subconscious.
Begin by asking yourself, what would I like to achieve in life this coming year? What would I like to do or accomplish? And what good would I like to attract into my life? Although you may not know how things may turn out, take the first step in faith. As Dr. Martin Luther King told us, “You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.”
Let us approach the New Year with resolve to find the opportunities hidden in each new day. And remember that if you want to change any aspect of your life, start by changing your thinking and feeling habits.
“Every day is a new beginning. Treat it that way. Stay away from what might have been, and look at what can be.” Marsha Petrie Sue
I am willing to try new things.
I can clearly see the blessings around me.
I awaken each morning feeling the promise of a new day and a new beginning.
I am whole, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious, and happy.
I look forward to all the blessings to come in 2018.
